On February 3 We walked almost 8 miles, from NW 25th and Raleigh, up Thruman St. to Aspen and then Wlldwood Trail to Pittock Mansion, still in the fog.

February 10 Meet at 9 am along highway 43 about 1/4 mile south of the Sellwood Bridge for a walk up through the Riverview Forest, or whatever it is called.

This forest is between Lewis and Clark College on the south and Riverview Cemetary on the north. There are several wide parking areas on the east side of highway 43, the river side, so park in the second or third area you come to, by pass the first choice as you proceed south. We will hike up through the woods on some new trails and on some older trails. It is likely to be muddy so wear suitable shoes or boots and bring a walking stick to aid stability on what is likely to be challenging trail.
