October 30, the walk went south from OMSI along the bike path. We cut over when a trail was available in the woods next to the river. We took a side trip to view the house on the bluff that had a landslide in its backyard. The round trip was about 6 miles and the rain was occasional and light.
Next Sunday November 6 we plan on going along the Willamette River again, this time from the Burlington RR bridge to the St. Johns Bridge, if the water is not too high. Meet at the Starbucks on Lombard in downtown St. Johns where we have met twice before. 9am, leave at 9:15.

A short section of woods lay between the river and the bike path, with a few trails crisscrossing.
